Quad-core processors and graphics cards power Prestigio’s fastest and best-looking MultiPads yet
Prestigio has released the Quantum range of MultiPad tablets, which receive a bump in speed and display quality over past MultiPad lines.
The Quantum collection, as with past Prestigio tablets, is available in 10.1 and 9.7-inch models, but also adds a 7.85-inch iteration, the first such sized tablet from the manufacturer.
Powering all of the differently-sized models are 1.6GHz quad-core processors and 1GB of RAM, which Prestigio says make the Quantum tablets the fastest products available in the MultiPad range.
The Quantum range comes preinstalled with Android 4.2 ‘Jelly Bean’, and features improved IPS-enabled displays – which should provide consistent colour regardless of viewing angle. Video can also be displayed on external HD displays by using the micro-HDMI output on several of the models.
The screen is powered by a quad-core Mali 400 graphics card, and the initial 8GB of internal storage can be increased up to 32GB using an expansion storage card slot. Prestigio says that the range has a long battery life thanks to a 7000mAh battery, which can be charged via micro-USB. A two-megapixel rear camera is also included, with a front-facing camera for video calls via apps such as Skype.
Other apps included with the tablet are Office Suite Pro, which allows users to view and edit documents, Prestigio’s E-Reader app and SugarSync, which provides 5GB of free cloud storage. New apps can be downloaded from the Google Play store.
The aluminium-chassis Prestigio MultiPad 4 Quantum range is available now, starting at £139.99 for the 7.85-inch model, moving up to £199.99 for the 9.7-inch model and stretching to £169.99 for the premium 10.1-inch tablet.
The tablets also include a two-year warranty from Prestigio, as well as unlimited technical support.Share on Facebook
