Nelson Mandela died following a long illness & Lung Infection

Nelson Mandela is no more, said South African President Jacob Zuma.

Nelson Mandela was South Africa’s first black president and anti-apartheid icon. He was 95 years old and died following a long illness, he had been receiving medical treatment for lung infection.

Nelson Mandela spent 27 years of his life in prison. Nelson Mandela will get a state funeral and national flags will be lowered to half-mast.

“Our nation has lost its greatest son,” said President Jacob Zuma.
